pacesetter header DP Q

I have the pacesetter header and I am going with 2.5" exhaust. I need some ideas on what to do about the down pipe because it will not work with the bigger piping. The muffler shops around me all do crush bend so I am trying not to do that, but I don't want to have to ship the headers and downpipe to get something done. anyone?

Make your own

No welding machine so doing it myself is out unfortunately.

Take it to a muffler shop and have them do the welding for you.

Here's how I did my down pipe if this helps John. Take notes and have it welded up by your local muffler shop for very little out of pocket expense.
Buy you a couple of sections of mandrel bent piping that may fit the application. I used 37 degree and 48 degree piping and you could probably use 45 degree piping to get the angle just right for your down pipe.

You'll have to cut your b-pipe from your pacesetter so that it can be butt welded to the ball flange you just cut so that it fits the pacesetter with no issues as pictured above.
Measurement and trial fitting is a must to get it right so measure a number of times to figure out exactly what you need.
Also buying several angled pipes will do you wonders because only one will work and buying more than one will give you the advantage of having the pipe when you finally figure out which angle of pipe you need.

Here's my setup once I got the mandrel bent pipes in and finally got to measuring it all out.

You can see how I marked everything out for the bung holes for the wide band and where the welds had to be lined up for welding.
Here's the finished product which was welded up by Adam at Atomic Fabrications (thank you Adam again). It came out nice and should be similar to what you'll need to do to have your custom downpipe you need for your exhaust.

This is what I've been trying to tell you over the phone and by text but you're not listening John.
So all this nonsense and just do it.

Reducer thingy can be found at nearly any auto parts store; autozone, checker, jegs, summit, you name it. Flanges can also be found online or at the same store. Really not that hard...
