doing an eco swap once i get the money and i was wondering which is better 4-2-1 header or 4-1 header?
i need opinions on best quality, sound, power, installation, price, etc
4-1 = more top end power
4-2-1 = more low/mid range power
but to be honest, the numbers aren't really that different between the two and if I was using it for a DD, I would prob get a 4-2-1.
your power will be more usable under DD conditions.
that's my 2-cents
General rules of thumb:
4:2:1 - better mid-rpm hp and tq
4:1 short primarys(like pacesetter) - better high-rpm hp
4:1 long primarys(RD Fabs) - decent compromise of both.

so which would you guys choose, the tsudo 4-2-1 or the pacesetter 4-1. on ecotecforum.com they are all saying the tsudo but id like to get a broad opnion.
I personally have always used the 4-1 for more top end.

Mine is a 4:1 long tube from RD Fabs(the eco "race header" in their feb sale thread is the exact one). Kinda looks like the pacesetter, but only alot bigger. I have noticed a decent gain up top and practically no loss down low.
