Weapon R Ram air filter upgrade... worth it?

I know they off a filter that you can attach a slinky looking tube onto the front of it, and this tube is aimed towards the flow of air in the front area of your car.

I have the Bomex body kit, and it has three inlets, two medium and one small that let air fly in and hit the K&N filter that is on my AEM CAI.

I am pondering swapping the K&N cone, for a Weapon R ram air filter and then putting the tube mounted right where the two medium inlets blast air into the front bumper.

Worth it? Not?

I know each car reacts different to mods. This is on an 03 Sunfire.

My wife's 2003 Ecotec 2.2 liter Sunfire:
* 2 1/4 inch in and dual 2 inch out muffler Trans Am muffler
* 2 1/4 piping to a very long 2 1/4 inch resonator
* 2 1/4 inch catalytic converter
* an AEM true cold air intake NOPI edition
* 8 gauge ground wire kit
* Toyz front strut brace
* Russell stainless steel brake lines all around.

Not worth it.
You'll lose power with the Weapon R setup and the corrugations in the piping to the filter will impede any real airflow from the outside of the car.
There would be so much turbulence in the setup that you'd lose power.
Stick with the K&N and you'll be good to go with the best filter ever made.

not werth it at all. You will never notice the difference even if it weren't corrugated piping. Cold air intakes on N/A cars with no other mods do one thing, make it sound fast.

I think we are looking at the same one, in the near future I may put one in. The idea with the slinky duct is indeed good, and I already know where I would attach it, using a Jeep duct that I am running and I'm happy with.
The only downside I've heard here is the fitment on a Sunfire, but I don't know how true that is.
