Who would be interested in a intake manifold, (aluminum) which keeps the throttle body in the same location as stock?
Ecotec 2.2L engine this is about.
It would be a direct bolt in. Not like venom, which mimics the stock intake style, but a short runner style...
Intersted?

will it stay natural finish or other finishes available? also stock type gaskets? and benefits of this on n/a eco? benefits with and without tuning. tuning is not an option for me personally.

Natural/powder coated/anodized... Not 100% sure yet, to early to tell.
cut of the stock gasket, or maybe flat and seals with silicone like other brands do.
Better top end power, flows a lot more air.
The Short Ventuli Runners Provide a Direct Path for the Air to Follow. Stronger than the stock plastic if you would turbocharge. This Velocity Stack Runners...

ok so like a log style but instead of having the tb on the end of the plenum.. have it on TOP of the plenum?
Trailer Queen corvette wanna-be with 40 coats of wax and powdercoating that soaks in.
do something like this for the ln2!
and what are the chances of you making those cnc aluminum control arms? or maybe make em out of aluminum tubing? round is strong, isn't it?
z yaaaa wrote:ok so like a log style but instead of having the tb on the end of the plenum.. have it on TOP of the plenum?
Exactly, but it will NOT be a log style manifold, like you are thinking of a turbo manifold.
It will have 4 runners, and a FULL plenum...

Lets stay on topic, but I will say this, if we ever did anything it would be a FULL CNC aluminum lower control arm. Way to many issues with tubing over the years from other places. The trouble is most will not want to spend what it cost to make these ~$200 each side...

Aaron if you made this intake and accepted the misc. gaskets that you need to make it a "bolt on". It would be better then most that are on the market.

if the welding, quality, or powder coat looks anything like what your upper mounts look like then hell no! if all of your TTR products look like that crap then count me, as well as plenty others, out on this. @!#$ is junk and you might wanna stick to just selling products from your vendors.
subscribed as i need one sooner than later

obviously tuning would bring better results, but if i would go for this i'd want to b able to get as many modifications done without tuning and then just have it all done at once, only reason i was asking.
interested though.

Exactly, that is why we hope to achieve a HP gain on a stock setup/no tune, and even more power with a tune!

they would sell more if it was bolt and go the same can be said with any basic bolt on though its better with a tune

im not trying to jump to conclusions, im just stating that the quality of your work in the past has been sub-par where many people may not be interested... this is an interest thread.
also id like to hear how my name fits me well? ive already called you out in the past and shown pics of the quality of my first upper mount, idk how your lacking quality makes my name suit me, it has no relevance to my name. its not even worth my time to bump that thread with pics of the even worse 3rd mount ive been sent as well as the mount that came on my sunfire. i thought it was just my luck but nope lol.
ill hold my words from now on and see how this turns out. hopefully its nice, but if your gonna sell junk you cant be mad when people speak up.
Never had any problems with my TTR upper mount, not on the bushings, powdercoating, or anything, my car is daily driven year round and the mount has been on the car for more than 30,000 miles. On Montana rough (barely roads) roads. I also have the TTR tranny bushings and Rksport lower mount (<-noted for refernece), no problems with the tranny bushings either, still putting power to the ground.
Just pointing this out so others can see not everyone had a bad experience with Aarons products.
As for the manifold, would be interested if it pans out, sounds like it would be a nice addition for those of us going the boosted route but dont want a manifold that moves the throttle body location.
