So Id really like to get my hands on one of these roots style superchargers offered by GM themselves but theres one problem (besides money). The kit says it only fits cars from 2000-2002 equiped with the LD9, part #12498660. My car is a 1999 with the LD9. Is there any reason this kit wont work on my car? I would really hate to drop $1500 bucks on something just to find out theres one little nook or cranny that wont let it work. Any input would be appreciated.
