I plan on building up my 2220. Im not gonna turbo it....maybe nitrous if anything. Am I gonna need heavy duty valve springs or will "new" stock ones hold up fine?

As long as you dont plan on a modified or radical cam, stock ones should be fine.
Plus if you want to upgrade them, you have to do many other mods to make them work.
Thats my custom small block chevy / LS1 valvetrain.
