For ~$1000? I would:

eBay intake
Steel braided brake lines
Short shifter
Pacesetter header (ceramic coated)
Vibrant cat-back

Should be around a grand or so. If there's any left, get some good brake pads. Optionally, you could swap out the exhaust system for a decent suspension setup (decent, not great though. Adjustable shocks and some lowering springs with a set of sway bars would be about it)

If i was to do it all again. I would charge it and go from there.

A used charger can be had for less than a grand.

Because he wanted more power and went turbo. Beside if your using the car as a DD the GM Supercharger is the way to go. Its very reliable. Your car will break down long before the supercharger does.

And if he gets the tornado and throttle body spacer he'll be even faster then you.

Don't buy from MANTAPART!!
There is no easy ways to get HP, no magic box or gizmo... And if you get more hp, there's no way to make your car still behave and sound like a stock one. More hp usually makes your car louder, more vibrations and harder to drive...but still people hope or think maby there's some magic way to have it all, comfort, stock sound and drive.

Maybe true to an extent...but will never have IRS in strick cavalier form. So, even with air ride you will still have the body sway caused by one side dropping when the other doesn't. Still wont be a caddy...unless one does an N-body IRS swap and air...then I could agree with you...caddy maybe then!
