Hey guys this is going to sound stupid im taking my throttle body on my 97 z24 apart for paint ... and i dont want to mess anything up so i thought i would ask on here first ... i got everything off but how do you get the shaft out that is connected to the throttle cable where the spring is . i dont know the exact name on it but on the other side there is a bearing and looks like on the shaft there might be something pressed on not sure .
you gave it two hours and needed a bump, give it sometime and someone will answer. You cannot take that off unless you do some grinding on the black bracket and pop it off. I would suggest you tape it off along with all of the holes in which the sensors go in and the bolt holes. Thats about all you can do!
lol i know i was impatient on this sorry ... i figured i would have to do that but i didnt want to do something dumb and mess it up . thanks i appreciate it .
