Where can I get a 2.3 intake flange?
cut one off a 2.3 manifold
Yeah I have one of those old tubular intake manifolds sitting around i could hackup. But my mig isnt set up to wield aluminum. I would need aluminum mig wire wouldnt I? im teaching myself how to wield with a little help from friends so im not too sure.
mig welders don't weld aluminum very weld unless you have a a self feed wire gun.
They run about $400 its really the only way to get a good aluminum weld out of a mig welder.
Thanks, I guess that idea is out. I suppose I could get a piece of steel and start drilling and dremeling. how thick do you think it sould to be to avoid warping or bending?
