I know that HP Tuners doesnt support a Pre 97' Cavalier and I don't understand why its not supported... The only difference I have seen in the 95-96's and the post 96' models is where the computer is.. How can that make a difference and if there truely is no way to tune a 95-96 then is there a way to swap out the computers or is that going to require a whole new wire harness? Sorry for all the questions but I've had to look for a new Cavalier just so I can get software for tuning...
i did it in my car its not that bad really... took me 2 hours only thing thats diffent is oil pressures sensor... 12 bucks at advance...

I don't know all that much about my cars ecu as far as plugs go... havent looked yet... but its a Ln2 an the ecu is under the dash in the center under the stereo...well in that general area... im by no means an expert my fathers the mechanic and he told me the difference between the 95-96 cav's and 97' on is that the ecu's in 97' on are located near the passanger side wheel well... but from what you've all told me it shouldn't be a big deal to just get a newer ecu and swap some parts to make sure everythings going to work... I'll have to look specifically when I can and check the plug types before I can figure the rest of this out though....Thanks guys... I was going to buy a whole new Cav just so I could do some tuning...

Unless you have the only one made like that, it's in the fender well. Simple to check, just poke your head under the front passenger tire, in the bumper, if you see a bunch of wires, that's your ECU.
