Sunfire stock gauge question.
Wednesday, December 10, 2008 8:11 PM
This might sound silly but is the stock temperature gauge on an 02 sunfire gt an oil temperature gauge? or is it a coolant/water temp gauge? I've always thought oil but i don't know for sure.

Oh @!#$. I just ordered one in the mail...and what's worse is that it was to replace my narrow band A/F gauge that i found out was just a light show...

Okay I really need some help now What should I order to fillup my 3pod A-Pillar. I have boost and volt, but I need a third. Preferably not something hard to install, any idea's guys? (2.2 ecotec 2002 sunfire)

Hour meter...okay.

Anyway how do ya hookup an oil pressure to the eco, it shows an adapter thing going from the oil filter, but the eco has a built in paper filter...

Hmmmm I'm thinking about installing my 3 gauges over christmas break so any help on what my third gauge should be (boost, volt, _____?) Preferably an easier gauge to install. (2.2 sc'd ecotec, 2002 sunfire)

Youre getting a volt gauge?

lol.

That's actually worse than thinking the coolant temp gauge is for oil temp, esp since it's written kind of clearly in the owner's manual.

My bad lol. I know now thanks to you guys and it's better getting embarassed here then in real life right?

I guess I'm going for boost, volt, and oil pressure. Thanks for the help.

PS: What spot does everyone prefer their boost gauge in? (closest to you, middle, or furthest)
