2200-2.2 Eco swap. Just a few ?'s

Hey guys, I know its been probably asked before but I just wanted to make sure I have a list of everything I need.

2.2 Eco
Auto trans (auto to auto)
computer
engine mounts
radiator
hoses and lines
exhaust manifold of sorts
intake
starter

Is there anything else im missing?

Also, since the engine wont be going in for another month or so, a buddy of the guy who is helping me with the shop said he might be able to do a little bit of porting. Is it worth say 200 bucks for a lil bit of porting? I suppose anything would help to get air flowing better hey?

Im was looking around and I saw someone said they were using a saab intake for there 2.2 eco, is there any advantage to that or is it just to be slightly different.

Another question I have is what would be the best exhaust setup for this thing. I havent checked around for a header for the eco yet, but is there any specific exhausts that people really like or should I just get my buddy at the exhaust shop to do me up something custom.

Last but not least is there anything besides boosting it, that people would recommend (manual conversion aside)?

Thanks for all the help, and im sure some people will flame the hell outta me for not searching all the forums lol

had a blown ecotec swapped 2000 cavy, now just an 02 Grand Am, and a 74 BMW 2002...

what year car is this going in to?

you'll also need the engine wiring harness, maybe more if this is a 1999 and older vehicle.

I don't know I heard only 2 people have tried the "Eco-Swap", one was a JBO member who went clinically insane after running a 13sec 1/4 mile in an N/A Jbody, the other was some scientist from GM who opened up a inter-dimensional paradox and was pulled into another universe. Maybe there are more who have attempted the Eco Swap and we just don't know because they were all erased from existence?!?!?!

I say don't risk it man, to dangerous you would be better off with a Cold Air Intake and some octane boost.
