WOW..... nobody ?

well in case it was not clear as to what I was talking about,

I'm getting ready to buy a header for the 2200, I am curious as to which would be a better choice... Long (Full length) or a shorty that hooks to the factory down pipe?
I'm looking for the difference between the two. ( Other than 1 is shorter )

Just better power, or better temp wise, or ?

I can find both, but why 1 over the other ?

better flow and such...exhaust goes through the pipe smoother

Shorties are a cheapo way of trying to gain power on a car (At least in traditional powertrain layout cars) and are chosen when space is at a compromise at best (Like on a street-rod). A long-tube is prefered because it'll help with low-RPM scavenging, which will help make torque there. If you got a 4-spd auto or a 5-spd stick, I'd suggest the long-tubes to help while cruisin' & with fuel economy.

Go beyond the "bolt-on".
