I have aftermarket headers and a cat back exhaust but I want to remove my cat and exhaust system and just run the down pipe does any one know where i can get a cheater sensor for the post-cat 02 so my CEL wont go on and throw my air/fuel into wack? I've seen some online but im unsure...help would be great...
That is going to be insanely loud!!! I'm running a header and a 32" resonator along with 2.25" pipe. Its super loud (150+ dB at the exhaust tip) but if thats what you want then go for it, just look out for the cops.
A search or 2 would have found you lots of info but i'm bored so i'll be nice.
The O2 simulator is unnecessary, the secondary O2 only monitors the performance of the catalytic converter and has no effect on engine management. You can remove it if you can put up with the CEL or find someone with HP tuners and have them disable the codes so you don't throw a CEL. I had mine out for 6 months before I got HPT, just had to deal with the CEL. I found that if you take the sensor out of the exhaust but leave it plugged into the wire harness the CEL is an occasional thing instead of a constant annoyance.
I hope this helps
Double posting is the devil. I responded in your other post, read my post for more info.
FU Tuning
how much was that HPT and where did u get urs from? My cars gettin old and i wanna have fun but i dont wanna dump a bunch of money in it.
HPT Its not cheap so if your just deleteing the codes its not worth it.

i donno who you are talking about, but i am looking to install the cat-delete/test pipe with my header. in order to do this, i need to do something about the rear 02, and yes, there is a resonator.
