Ford Red Top Injectors In my 98 2.4?
Saturday, August 09, 2008 8:26 PM
So a WHILE back I bought a set of Ford Red Top Injectors and Reconditioned them for my Boosted 2200. I now am S/C my 98 Z24 with a 2.4, I know It uses Low Impenence Injectors and I THINK the Ford Red Tops were Also Low Impenitence. So my question is, can I use them?

Thanks!

um almost all of the ford injectors if not all of the are high independance. The red tops are rated at 30#'s at 43.5psi with a rating of 14.4 ohms.

So they are high independance. I think the 99 2.4 use low independance injectors but not sure on a 98. If they are the real skinny ones not fat they are probably low independance. But like i said i'm not sure.

ok well should work from what i've seen. If you want take and test the resistance across the 2 prongs.that'll tell you if there the same. But you will have to get it tuned or use a adjustable regulator.
