It may be slow in stock form, but it was designed for economy. Your mods list claims you have the motor built, how money have you dumped into your engine? What is the true WHP on it?

I strongly doubt your 2200 will quote "walk all over me". I've yet to tune it so unless your boosted then maybe you might have a chance. Then imagine when I boost my twin cam.....boosted twin cam or a boosted single cam....who will win?

Or what size turbo did you upgrade to?I was making 287whp on 13 psi T3/T4 Stage III 60 trim with a .63 a/r .... Before I popped #3 ringlad I was pushing over 20psi for 3 months. I dropped the boost back down to 13 psi because I was going to attempt to get it to the Bash. I knew it was not going to last but I wanted to see how much the stock bottom end would take. The goal/idea was to strap it to the dyno in front of everybody at the Bash and show the non-believers what was up. The new turbo has a much quicker spool up time and will support more power also..

My tune was PERFECT and I think others here can probably attest to that. I pushed the limits of it because I wanted to. There is not one other person on this site that has came close to what I have on a stock bottom end 2200 and made it last for under boost for 5+ years with constant beating on it... You get me, you get me.. I don't think it will happen though.. I know what it will take on your motor to get around what I am building. I know both the motors inside and out. What turbo do you plan on using and how much boost just out of curiosity??
You got it! I got no problem running you...I cant believe you didnt forged your internals before hitting 20 psi. I got you
