I am just trying to get a general idea if i am correct. In order to get the 2.3l HO manifold to fit i simply need to purchase a 2.4L Intake manifold flange(Gasket) and get it welded onto the HO Manifold?
weld? ..perhaps...is that the easiest way??? god no...."easiest" way is to simply slot a coulple of the holes on the mani and itll bolt right up..using the 2.3 gasket of course....but theres more to it than simply getting a mani and putting it on...i suggest you do your research.........and use the LO mani, not the HO one

there is the fontana adapter flange. this will effectively port match the manifold to the head. this is what i used, and the install was Very easy. just had to undo the manifold a time or two to get her to seal right. thats all.
There is a lot of work involved in modding a 2.3 manifold to work on a 2.4 the right way.
I've fontana adapter flange in person and thought it was pretty @!#$ty.

But yeah,
Simply 'shape matching' the ports on the HO mani doesn't fully do it.
