Just wondering if there is much of difference between a dynomax super turbo muffler and a cherry bomb turbo muffler? I need to replace my stock muffler and wanted to add a new one with a little more sound to it. I read a lot of people like the super turbo's sound, but haven't heard anything about the cherry bomb turbo. Any help would be great.
I would use the dynomax. they are built better.
Where can I get one for a good price?
cherry bomb will be LOUD. super turbo will sound good, with a full exhaust. part number 17747 has the highest flow, is the same as stock size, and mie (with header and full 2.25 pipe +resonator (21" overall length) and a ceramic
thunderbolt spun cat, it is as quiet as stock at idle and cruise, but lets you know its not stock under load.

Dynomax can be had off-the-shelf at any Murray's.

did you get a big gain with that cat?
Yeah, im in nova scotia and i don't think we a an Advanced around here. The closest thing we have is NAPA and i think they only sell cherry bomb. Would the super turbo sound good on a stock setup, im only looking to replace the muffler?
Got a 2" on my truck with an otherwise stock system (1-7/8") and it sounds fine. Especially when I drive through Lower Wacker Drive & it resonates off the walls under acceleration. Deep & mellow.

Oh wait, you mean the Cherry Bomb. Sorry, no one I know uses theirs these days, so I can't say.
