EGR removal, kinda

OK here is the deal, I searched around the forums but I couldn't find the information I needed.

So here is the deal. I just bought a 97 Z24 with a blown engine. Now I have a 99 2.4 sitting here that was going into another project car but I have decided to do with a 3400 or Ecotec in it. The other car was orginally a 2.2. So I have everything that was needed for the swap plus a bunch of parts including a header for a non egr setup.

So my question is, what exactally do I need to change to get to the non egr setup so I can use the header and some of the other parts that I have. I think I remember someone saying once to change the engine harness and ECU (of course the putting the header on will solve the exhaust and using the 99 intake manifold).

Thanks in advance.

Or you could just disable the EGR with HPT, and get a block off plate

change the intake manifold of block it off at the bottom, you don't really have to do the harness if you run a 99 PCM without egr you wont have issues
