It doesn't look like theres anything special about it besides some baffling to encourage the oil to fall back into the crankcase from the timing cover. Does anybody have any good reasons why I couldn't make an aluminum low profile separator without the baffling and then just plumb it straight into a catch tank which vents atmospherically? Obviously the timing cover will also plumb into the catch tank aswell.
I need to make room for my modified HO manifold or rather whats left of it......hmmmmmm.........what could I be doing with that I wonder.....
I just used a filter for an airline, took out the stone filter thing, and attached it to the nipple with some hoses and fittings. Not much oil goes out as is but what does it catches and I can dump back in. Usually only a couple drops after a full day at the track.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

What about getting the one from the GM charger? It does not stick out as far (to make room for the charger).

I was thinking about having the catch can dump back in to the crankcase....since its really just a tank with a drain nipple at the bottom......just have it drain back down. I wasn't aware of a low-profile one from the charger.....is there a part number far sale separate?
I'm modifying the HO maifold for my 75mm TB and bought a 3"x5" retangular aluminum tubing I will weld the HO runners straight onto the top of....it might look pretty ghetto but should work great. The opening of the HO is way too small for the TB and just wont work I didn't have much option. I will make it look as good as possible.......it has potential to look good...we'll have to see. I will butch the column and put a rake in it to slope the volume of the plenum as the HO did toward the end of that manifold and such, I just needed more cross-sectional are at the opening of the manifold.
