i did some reading as to what i want to get for a muffler replacement on my car.
i dont want to do a whole system as the car is just for fun not racing.
i am going to go with the Dynomax Performance 17746 Muffler, Super Turbo, 2 in. inlet so far cheapest place will be ebay for $65 shipped

my only question is (being that the dynomax super turbo muffler is very quite already) i will not be needing to add a resonator right?

uhh no guarantees but from what I have read, you may need a resonator, depends what you are lookin for as far as sound level (dB's) is concerned. Someone with a ST must know...
what i want for sound is a lil sweet purr. not loud at all.

then a resonator is key....the bigger the better...
Yeah, a resonator will take the high frequency tones out of the exhaust, giving you (Leaving you?) a deep, bassy tone coming outta the pipe. That tinny-ness is what puts-off alotta people, especially the traditional-style motorsport hobbists. So get the longest you can fit between the catalytic (Move it as far forward as you can if you want) and the turn for the axle & enjoy!
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
