I have a 2005 Sunfire and I recently purchased an oil pressure gauge. I have seen several write ups on the installation of these gauges on older models but none for the 2005.
I was wondering where the sending unit goes in my car? I cannot locate the place where the unit is installed in some of the older models (different engine, I know). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

There is a hex bolt on the side of the head..If you stand at the driver side look at the side of the motor...you will see only one bolt that can be accesed..Thats the bolt you need to remove..But you need a adapter sold by autometer in order to replace the hex bolt..If you call them then can give you the part number..I dont have it any more sorry..If you are using a electric gauge you will need a braided line,due to the fact the sender will not fit due to the bracket that is in the way..Also you will have to ground the sender on it own due to the fact it is not grounded to the block..
