ok, so in the process of getting the head back on I ended up snapping the fpr vacuum tube off flush at the vacuum tree on the throttle body (96 2.2 ohv).
Has anyone ever done this before and what did you do to rectify it? Also, there's a vacuum tube that runs to the backside of the engine from the throttle body, but I have clue what it is for, anyone know what it is supposed to connect to?
These plastic vacuum tubes have to be the worst idea ever.....
well you can just go to the parts store and get the size that you need and replace it with a rubber one! as far as the second one im not sure where it goes to but i can walk outside check and let you know.
I would but the line broke flush with the vacuum "tree"/box that sits on the throttle body
I figure I will probably just use a y-split if I can find one small enough and then plug up the hole where it snapped off. If you could take a look and let me know where that line goes around the back of the motor I would appreciate it a lot!
