Injectors??
Tuesday, March 11, 2008 4:15 PM
I have a 2.4L fully built motor. I was just wondering if i could go with bigger
injectors to get some more hp out of the motor. It currently has stock injectors.
Thanks for reply in advance

More info on your set-up. Bigger injectors (if needed) will not give you more power without tuning.

ya if ur considering putting this in the boost forum, im guessing ur s/c or turboed and u deff should have bigger injectors, the stockers will be maxxed out. im still n/a but i have bigger injectors tuned in with hpt, the stock ones were getting a bit close to the limit

Car could probably use a good tune. Without datalogging the injectors hard to say if you need bigger ones, but maybe. I was getting close to maxing mine out and moved up.

I'm ryunning Cobalt SS/SC injectors which is about 368cc. HPT is a tuning program that allows you to tune the stock ECU. Go to the tuning forum and do some reading.
