I'm looking to do some major weight reduction to my 94 z24. I know hoods and trunk lids are a easy find, but what about body panels, or the whole body? My father in law said he used to have a magazine that sold complete fiber glass body kits for cavaliers. Does anyone know what magazine this is, or of any place or website I might want to look?
I'm not sure about 2nd gens, but I do know you can find full 1-piece fiberglass front ends. You can't fiberglass the entire body because the roof and rear quarter panels are basically holding your car together. You have to keep in mind though, full fiberglass front ends are meant for drag racing applications only, meaning cars that aren't going to be driven on the street.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
removing the interior panels, carpet, spare tire, and ac would give some good weight reduction.
i'm at around 600 lbs lost so far on mine and its no interior, no a/c, some wiring removed thats not needed anymore, and some steel cut out or removed. and still more to cut out. and i drive it every day still. still has the heater haha
