I need to built my engine very soon and I am thinking of these parts, a very similar configuration to the friend Frikken:

wiseco pistons 9:1 .020 overbore
eagle rods
clevitte bearings
2.3 oil swap
carcustoms valves
Port and pulish head
Rksport 4-2-1 header
secret cams
Spec Flywheel
Spec Stage 3 Clutch

that they can say? using a supercharger kit M-45

Can nobody give an idea?
for that read lately lower compression considerably it is not convenient using the supercharger M-45, now I have maximum 7 psi with ALKY injection.

I think maybe it would help if you said what ttpe of engine you plan to build.

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

Since he listed the 2.3 oil pump swap, I'm guessing he's building a 2.4.

Stcok your CR was 9.7:1 Yes the you will lose power if you go with 9:1 instead of 10:1 10:1 FTW

really is the power loss that much? As i'm doing the same build pretty much...just a little more in depth. Wade knows i harrass him everyday! Thanks man! , but is it that much?...i know the good thing is we'll be set-up if we want to go with a bigger turbo, or a bigger charger.

on this compression are my stock injectors going to be good. i have a afpr and i am going to be tuned with the engine build.

wow...he wants to use 9:1 pistons with a supercharger thats designed for a 9.7:1 piston....sounds like a BAD idea to me...if the charger on the 2.4 is rated at 200 hp...if you go with 9:1 count on making a good 180-190hp...and why would you want to do that??? since your going with forged pistons go with 10:1 and stop worrying about it !!
