header problem
Tuesday, January 08, 2008 10:21 AM
I had a pacesetter header 4-1 header installed back in march by jon at exhaust express in council bluffs, and have had to tighten the flange since then weekly. Now its to the point where it wont tighten anymore and the flange is almost U shaped. Jon told me that the best option is to just weld the header to the exhaust, and I dont care about not being able to remove it, but wouldnt this just crack since it obviously flexes so much? Theres not much room to really put a flexpipe, and am not sure what to do.....any options?

youll have to add a flex joint , there is room for 1

you should have done something sooner about the loosening problem , and you wouldnt be in this position

if you get a solid motor mount wouldnt that help reduce the header movement?
