Turbo Tech Racing Cat Back Interest?

Who would be interested in a high quality stainless steel cat back system for the Cavalier/Sunfire?

We are considering expanding and purchasing a mandrel bender. Which we could manufacture headers, downpipes, exhaust systems sway bars, intakes.

What size exhaust would you like?

2 1/4", 2 3/8" 2 1/2" 2 3/4" 3"?

A full cat back/muffler/tip would be around $350-500

Again it would be a full "mandrel" bent 304 stainless steel, cat back system, most likely a magnaflow high flow muffler.

Other ideas/suggestions are also welcome.

i would take one as long as you made it so a rear tie bar can be used.

ie: tuck it up against the body as much as possible while still being safe.

would we be able to choose the muffler style?

We plan on having around 5 muffler choices and a couple tip choices to choose from, made to order, but you get exactly what you want

^^ I agree.

Have the pipes coming over the axle as high as possible.
Have them run at 45 degress for the curve, and go straight back to the muffler

Most other catbacks have extra bends to the muffler.

Similar to the one N/A Madness has and had made for me.
Im at work, but will try to get pics up.

2 3/8" pipe would be neat.
That would make the inner 2 1/4"

I would love to see anything you could offer, but it would be great to get some complete exhaust systems for our cars - header downpipe highflow cat cat back, all in a bolt on set up. There is currently only one system I know of now that is not a hack and weld header system, at least for the L61 and LD9. I just like to install myself

Otherwise, a bolt on 3" cat back would be beautiful!!

That would be nice too.

But there are too many diff header options out there.
Not counting the turbo stuff.

And then there are guys like me that own 7-8 headers and never install them
But I have a ghetto fab catback on the car.

camaro style also??????

(after i wrote this i thought about how hard it would be to get the dual setup aligned universally with the cutouts. but it would be awesome if you could.)

Would it be offered without a muffler?

I bought my CTI without a muffler (3") and it was about $200 shipped. Now I know its mild instead of stainless, it still has yet to rust as I painted it though.

I know we'd love to get a mandrel bender instead of doing it all by hand. But then again, no one else has an exhaust like i do....

No mandrel bender can do what we did. G'luck aaron.

C'mon guys, potential made to order exhaust systems with TTR quality here!! After seeing the quality K-brace this company has offered, along with easy installation thanks to good instructions, this is a no brainer.

My local exhaust shop is excellent at what they do, praised by many for their work...the problem? THEY KNOW IT. Their attitude is arrogant and prices are high, but unfortuately, there is no alternative for quality work. A bolt on system from TTR would change that.

Anyways, Aaron, I would pay 350-500 for a 3" mandrel bent, bolt-on, cat back (w/ resonator...please?? ) and muffler (anything but an asscan).

Even if nothing comes of this, thank you for continuing to support a dead platform

I would be interested in just the 3" cat-back piping. I have a stainless Magnaflow muffler that is fine

Would there be a stainless resonator included ???

I wasn't even looking into a new exhaust but I could use a change plus I'd also be doing it to support TTR. You guys take alot of pride in what you do and thats something you rarely find now a days.

i would take one without muffler as long as a tie bar fit in there. i need one before summer tho....

so I say you guys should make a turbo header for the 086 head.....cuz i havethe head.....and a GT3071R lol....but noooo header, how about some love for the hybrids

I will definitely be interested. Your products are top notch. I can only imagine how your exhaust system would be. I would love to see a 2.5" catback with a resonator.

how about maing an intermediate pipe... the only one i could find when shopping around for my exhaust was on mantaparts website and i wasnt about to order from them...

if you offered an intermediate pipe it would keep alot of people happy as they could put on their own muffler of their choice. if i could have got just the pipe and put my own muffler on, i would be rocking the walker 2.25" exhaust right now instead of the vibrant one i have. i also wouldnt be wnting to cut up my vibrant to put on a resonator cause the walker would have been quiet enough...

how about making a header PERIOD ... those of us with quads or quad heads have NO header options at all whatsoever ! ive been looking into copying the DC sport or RK 4-2-1 header for a custom build but i cant get anyone to do it the primaries and secondary pipes will need a much bigger inner diameter for quads so the existing dc and rk headers are useless to us...but a copy with the right size pipe would be A GOD SEND! ill even DONATE the steel flange to get things started !!
