I hope you're either very young or joking...
the stock exhaust piping is 1 7/8"
Unless you're looking to buy a $30 Dynomax muffler just for the hell of it, I recommend going out and buying a full 2 1/4" CatBack (check out www.gravanatuning.com) or make some connections and get a buddy to custom fabricate you an exhaust. If you're planning on going out and blowing all kinds of money on some stupid HKS titanium muffler on stock catback piping, you're not only wasting money but your being a complete retard. Before doing anything to your car, even basic dumb stuff like exhaust mods, read up, do research, understand WHY you're doing the mods and how to do it, whats involved, whats been done, tips/tricks, good aftermarket, bad aftermarket, etc.
If you're just slapping on a muffler to make some noise, buy a Dynomax and a tip at your local auto parts shop or Menard's.

I do... Curtis, all you're setting yourself up for with that idea if you do achieve it is a helacious noise maker. Stepping-up the exhaust pipe diameter relative to the feeding pipe like that (especially at the end/outlet) will have the effect of a megaphone (Re: Use of acoustic principles to amplify sound = MAKE LOUDER!). Especially under power! Do you want cops waiting outside your door just to nab you when you so much as start your car's engine? I don't think so! Just look for a muffler that flows the highest flow rate at a given pressure drop (say 10Hg.in. Maybe 26) with the lowest level of noise produced in the same inlet/outlet size that is as close as possible to your extention pipe (the one that runs from the cat to the muffler) and you'll get what you'll need. Might I suggest a Flowmaster Deltaflow 60? It has the lowest noise levels with good flow numbers and has a nice, deep, non-ricey tone resulting from it that I've heard when used with a tu-tu. Makes it sound like the old english 4's that used to race back in the day (Sweet)!

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

well the average waste pipe in a household is 4" so i guess if you wanna push @!#$ 5" oughta be fine

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
