so a week ago, my headgasket blew, so since i dont have that much experience w/ engine work, i took it to a shop, and i need a new head (multiple cracks)...so my question is, the head im getting is remanufactured, and have new valves, springs, etc....should i see a difference in performance, i mean obviously because ill have a new, "better" head.... right????? btw, 91 sunbird, 2.0 ohc
yes you should, it should start better, run better, have performance "closer" to when it was new ect.

I give up...
i'm buying a VW those people love trees, so they should love eachother too... "Andy"
ok, thanks yea thats what i was hoping for
It might even make a touch more power, especially if they decked the head when they rebuilt it, because that would make the combustion chambers a bit smaller, increasing your compression. that may balance out against bottom end engine wear though, but you should notice a general improvement at the very least.
