looking for a place to buy a new or a remanufactured LD9 for my 97 Z24 i have run across a couple i figuried you guys would know who has the best price / warrenty any help would be great ........ thanks

Although not new or reman. a scrapyard can unveil some treasures. When my 2.4 went a year ago I found a 01 Alero 2.4 that had only 8K miles.
I didn't believe it at first but, looking at it, it was like new and just really dusty from sitting around so long. I was thinking OK maybe they just really
cleaned it well. Then while installing it I knew it was a sure thing as the insides were like new also. If you do decide to go this route there are
web sites that have inventory of many scrapyards so you don't have to call so much. I can't remember what site I found mine off of but there was at least
thirty 2.4's within a 75 mile radius of me at that time. Depending on where you live you may be surprised on how many you can find close by. They
don't have the big warranty, just 6 months (on the one I got) but, you may be able to get one for a little more if they offer it. Mine was about $700 which I believe is around
the price of a rebuild kit and a fraction of a new or used one.

Ok cancel a couple things I just said. I was searching on Google for the site I used to get mine for you and I found my old post from the JBO when I was doing mine.
