V-6 = worse handeling?

I have a Pontiac Sunfire four door sedan, if I had a V-6 put in, would there be a noticeable difference in how the car handles?

Which v6? A 3400 weighs about the same as the quad4 motors, so weight distribution wouldn't be much of a problem. The 3800 weighs significantly more so if you autocross, you will probably see more problems with understeer. Raven has done the L67 (3800 supercharged) swap and from what I remember, he claimed to only feel a little difference in handling.

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.

I hadn't picked a v-6 yet, because I didn't want to get my hopes up, and then find out that my car would handle badly. Thanks for the help.

My car handles much better than it did stock and since I have added the roll bar and sway bars it has never handled better. I haven't pushed it hard on a track but on the street it's great. I'm not sure how it would do on an autocross track but I don't think handling would be your main issue anyway.

Same here. I have the 3400 which is lighter than Ravens due to having aluminum heads most likely. The car feels like a completely stock car with the 2.2 in it and i'm sure Raven's car is the same way........ well, til you put your foot into it.

As far as pushing it..... I've never really took the car and pushed it on turns to the extreme. But i'm more of a straight line kinda guy I suppose.

NOTE*

With a V6 under the hood, and especially if you add sorts of boost the suspension wont really your main concern. You'll be more worried about the lifespan of things like, transmissions, axles, and more importantly..... motor mounts. Right Raven?
