could i put an after market exhaust for a 2.4 on a 2.2? it says only for a 2.4 but whats the diffrence?
also is the ecotec in sunfires to form 2003-2005? im getting parts from a sunfire for my 2003 cavalier just curious.
Depend on what kind of exhaust. If its a catback, that will work, but you might need to modify some brackets. If its a header, no. It will not work. The ecotec in sunfire and cavaliers are the same exact thing. So engine parts that say (year) cavalier, will work on any sunfire with the same engine.
3rd gen exhausts systems are universal. the 03-05 may have different locations for the hangers.
now the header from the 2.2, 2.4, ecotec are not interchangable
