i found this oil cooler for my car on turbotech's website....

http://turbotechracing.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=425&idproduct=159

can anyone tell me if this is worth the money? how hard is it to install? where will i mount it? ya know, general stuff like that

i want a small upgrade to help my car out, but not throw my money away.

thank you all!

Whats your objective for the oil cooler? Judging from your mods I'd take the cash and save it towards the engine internals your going to need to go all motor. High compression pistons, eagle rods etc...
Putting some Red line water wetter in the coolant is a cheap start to accomplishing your same goal of lowering engine temps.

Why not go with an oil cooler?

The above would usually dictate the need for an oil cooler.
Cooler temps, more oil, and running a bigger filter would help in the overall scheme of keeping the car at it's optimum level of performance.
I'd say go for it.
I'm working on getting mine together as we speak.
Mercedes Benz supplied the actual oil cooler and PermaCool supplied the sandwich adaptor.
Now I'm waiting to get the stainless lines with the fittings to install it by January or February.

My plans for the car will see the need for the oil cooler.
Good luck with it.

I would say go for it man.. I have a built motor, temp would shoot up on hot days in traffic, after installing cooler and two electric fan now my temp never moves after getting to regular running temp. Good investment i would say....its easy to install, take off filter add on adapter, mount oil cooler to front of radiator and run the two oil lines...
