I have a 96 Z 5 spd. Just got around to trying to put my TTR manual tranny mounts and dont have a vise so it is a pain in the a#^ to put in, has any done it without using a vise? And if so how do you go about it? Mounts are off the tranny and laying on my work bench all lubbed up : ( Mounts still wont even start to go in. And yes I am using the beveled edge on the mount and side with the smaller lip on the insert. Thanks guys

Man that would be tuff..i found it to be a pita with a hydrolic press lol.
i did mine with a vice. find a friend or even take it somewhere, they might charge like $5 but hey its cheap and they are in.
i didnt have the ttr's i had the mark pain mounts for my 97, but yeah it was a PITA to get them in as well, but like u said, i too.. beveled the edge and they went in perfect so i have no idea what the deal is...
I just went down to harbor freight and bought a vice and pressed them in. worked pretty good. im sure i will put that vice to work enough times for it to be worth it.

Yeah a vice does work best to push in the bushings
