Has anybody heard anything good about the Supertech Valvetrain for the ecotec? They have Valve springs and retainers for the 2.2 Cobalt for $395 on Cobaltperformanceparts.com. It sounds to good to be true but, i got rid of my cav to buy a cobalt and im going to do this one all motor and im wondering if anybody has heard anything or tried anything with supertech.

Ive never heard about them at all.

I would contact Karo though to see what he could do for you on the GM racing set up. GMPP has a duel valve spring set up.

Supertech isn't new to the game at all. Lots of honda boys are using their parts.

Blew it up, build numbers coming soon

About $700 for a decent set of valves, dual valve springs, and Ti retainers.

Another choice for us ecotec owners.

Thanks guys. I know a lot of honda guys are using them, and The honda engines rev really high so i thought about giving them a try. I know street bikes use supertech also. The price of 395 gets me but if they hold 9000 RPM out of a honda engine im sure we can get at least 8000RPM on on ecotec with them. I mean there 74 86 and 94 lb springs so It doesn't seem that bad. I have a local who does awesome porting and i can have an equivalent to the patriot head for half the cost!!
