will this
exhaust fit on a 2004 cavalier? the guy said it wont fit the third generation cavalier but i dont think he knows what hes talking about. any ideas?
$100 catback is gonna get you crap... but theres no way to tellif it will fit... the piping is the same from 95-03 but the hangers changed at least twice possiblely 3 times
what do you mean by crap? whats the big difference between this and some 600$ name brand exhaust? rusts easily? thanks for the input man, get back to me.
I didn't say to sepnd $600, I'm a firm believer in custom exhausts.
the problem with cheap exhausts is quility of metal, rusts out, @!#$y welds on the hangers, crappy fit, etc. etc.
On a side note, I believe that is for the 2200. As the years only go to 2003. I was looking at one for myself. Not sure if i'm getting it yet.

last i checked under j-bodies they were. an 05 was the last car i was under, and all was the same. same chassis, same suspension....
hmm so you guys think itll work?? obviously i would need some minor modding but i plan on going to an exhaust shop for them to set it up. Thanks for the input keep me updating if anyone knows for sure

just to clarify... from the cat BACK is the same.
the header and intermediate pipes (downpipes whatever the f you wanna call them) are not the same

i kno the hangers are the same from 99 to 01 i have had the same exhuast on three cavies im pretty sure it is the same up to 05 it said it is stainless steel so it should hold up but as far as welds its hard to say but if you are gonna have a shop put it on the they should have some kind of warranty for their work

i wasnt there so i dont know for sure, but i gave my cousin my stock exhaust (cat back) when i got mine done, he said it didnt fit. so i dont know if it does or not, but i was told my old exhaust didnt fit his 95. (i have a 2004)
