for like $15-20 you can get a fitting set to add fittings to intakes. ive seen them at local performance stores.

cap it off no... you need pressure to be able to escape out.

you can get a little breather to put on though and that will be just fine.

you can drill a hole in the intake and put a gromet with a plastic pcv valve nipple.

Vacuum/ Sensor adapter kit

5, 8, 10 mm fittings with grommets

12, 14,17mm fittings with grommets

19 and 25mm fittings with grommets

sensor hole saw kit

there is a bunch of the spectre performance stuff links for the fittings and stuff. the first kit includes the hole saw and a few popular fittings, but doesnt say what size the fittings are.

it will probably cost you the same amount of money to by the fittings i posted above as it would to buy one of those breather filters. also, with the fittings your car would stay legal in the aspect that you are not by-passing the PCV valve like one of those filters would. some places it is illegal to by-pass the PCV valve as it is part of the emmissions system.

^^^ that is true but Ecos don't have a PCV valve. The PCV system consists of a single rubber hose from the valve cover the intake (pre manifold, no engine vacum) and thats it. No valves but yes your point is the same and correct
