weight reduction

was browsing the internet and i found this page that has the approx. weight of objects that can be removed on a cav. didnt know where to post this or whether its a repost . if it is then my apologies.here ya go everybody. enjoy!

When I took mine out and weighed it it came closer to that 27lb figure.But good info none the less.

Thats a great link. I don't plan on doing any of that (except maybe the hood) seeing as I drive mine daily, but that would be very useful were I to buy a second for the drag strip!

um... 1800 pound 3rd gen j-body? that would be UNBELIEVABLY hard.

no... lol his is probably 2400-2450 with him in it.

i know mine with pretty much everything deleted (full interior yet) and me in it is 2500.

the doors and glass items are pretty heavy... if you didnt do a roll cage and got creative you would literally need carbon fiber doors, lexan windows, swap to a crap load of aluminum/titanium bolts, and drill a ton of holes to get a j-body even close to 2000, let alone 1800. i honestly dont see 1800 being a possibility.

I really want to get mine weighed, it's missing stuff all the way from the front bumper support to the rear bumper support.
