I just got a air intake for my 96 cavie with a 2.2. when I installed it I could not close my hood. Could I have installed it wrong? I bought it from ebay. Maybe you guys now what I'm talking about. And I dont know what the extra brackets are for either?
extra brackets are because its an ebay special.....dont worry about them. try cutting an inch or so off the rubber elbow that attaches to the TB.
Instead of pushing it out from the throttle and benting it has a slight curve and goes over the valve cover and on top of the breather hole on the valve cover. the hole where the vacume lines run. It seems the filter is a little big and the tube needs to be longer in the curve but I dont know i'll try to get a pic soon my bro has my camera and he's out of state will be comming back this weekend.
