New 1/4 mi times

The best run so far I've been able to pull of is (Tonight actually)

15.247 @ 92.31mph with a 60ft time of 2.400

It was on a 40 degree night (Farenhight)

A believe my profile is up to date exept for the plugs I'm running if anyone wants to check, but all I basically have is a cool air intake and full exaust (I,H,E)

0-60 times was 6.922 1/8 mi was 9.916

Hopefully I can get the thing to run a 15 flat once I set the car up to launch worth a crap.

Is 2.400 seconds for a 60 foot decent at all? kinda wondering if I need to work on the launch a bit or not....either way...I need to make the car hook before I can do much better. (wheel hop is pretty bad because I still have a stock suspension with stickey tires)

Hopefully when I get my secret cams in, put my LO manifold on, and do something about the wheel hop (motor mounts), I'll be running in the mid to high 14's. Then when I get my tranny set up right, I can slap on a set of drag radials and see what happens.

So..... I'm I doing OK / fiquring right....... comments please

Not bad, but if this is with that g-tech deal you NEED to hit up a track. Jason (2NVUS4U) had more done to his car back in the day and hit 15.4?ish with his car at rockfalls. If it was at the track however, those are some damn good times.

Yea it was with the Gtech deal. I've been told by people that thier accurate to under 1/10th of a second (usually the same) if you activate it on a drag strip and compare the times, but you right, I really need to go to a strip.

I think the closest one is in Ceder Falls Iowa (Ceder Falls Raceway), but it's still a long drive.
We don't have any strips where you can run your street car here in Minnesota (at least within driving distance that I know of).

Either way, it can't be off by much.....I'll check and see how far away ceder falls is where I live and try to make it down there. I think the temp outside might have something to do with the better times.

Before I fixed my coils I was running around a 15.8 on a 90 degree day, wich is more beliavable, so I'de be willing to bet it's not off by much.

OK.... It's 125 or so miles away. That won't be that bad of a drive. The only problem is that I won't be able to run my car there until around next may. It's the end of the season for Midnight Madness down there (where people can run there cars from off the street).

I really need to get a time slip.
When I take the car to the strip this spring, I'll run the Gtech on the strip and let you all know how close or off it is.
I wonder if anyone here has one thats done that.

That seems a bit fast even for being a manual. Its not realy that the gtech isnt 100% accurate, but also track conditions are different than the street, also things like sea level and such. Id like to see what you pull at the track though.

Off topic, sorry but your exhaust has to sound like ass lol. I had the same exhaust setup and was raspy as hell. What do you think of it?

I am running Bridgestone Potenza RE950 tires up front and RE960's in back. There on 16" Z24 rims, so whatever the stock size for a Z24 with 16x7 rims is...is what they are. The Re-950's are stickey as hell but I can still toast them at will (but not on accident) I'm running stock suspension right now so I get wheel hop, or I just spin. When I got the 15.2 run, I spun my tires all the way to the limiter in first, but it still took off OK.

Yea I really wanna hit up a drag strip. As for the exaust... its pretty dang raspy, I'm thinking of welding in a 18" or so cherry bomb in after the cat to act as a resonator. I suppose I could just keep paying the tickets too.

Like this one I actually got tonight...

I don't think I'm using the quotes right or something....
