does anyone know how to remove the valves, springs and retainers?
I got a rental tool from AZ but its not even close to being what I need.
( most likely for an older style motor with lots of room.)
Ya. You unbolt the cams and take everything apart. No special tools required. There IS a J-tool to hold the cam gears in place, but you don't really need it.

yeah its the taking part thats got me, how can I get the spring compressed, and then how does the keeper come out? it looks like the a little clip in the middle looks like two half circles( not like a traditional C-clip) the compressor I have is just too large to even get in the hole much less do any work while its in there.
