I plan on just putting on a fart can. And before you start I know its ricey, but I like the sound. I just need the stock o.d. so I can get the right adapter.

Retarded.

Anyways, I believe the diameter is 1 7/8...it might be 2, I think it actually varies somewhat. I don't think you'll find an adapter that's 1 7/8" at any rate. Are you having a shop weld it on? If so they should have whatever they'd need adapter wise, you shouldn't need to take one...

I can get an adapter for 1 7/8 to 2.5 and also 2 to 2.5( the mufflers inlet is 2.5) so i guess i'll just check it when the stock muffler comes off.. I'm gettin the muffler welded to the adapter and i'm just clamping the adapter to the exhaust so that when I sell the car, I can put the stock muffler back on.

Also I forgot to mention it's my car, and it doesn't hurt you when I have a fart can on it, so what does it matter to you whether you think it's "retarded or not". Are you going to give me the money for a catback? If not then that's all I can do.

I know you want to mod it now, but any money you don't waste on a fart can could be saved for a catback. They aren't really that expensive. Remember, Rome wasm't built in a day.

I would get a cat-back and all the other bolt on goodies, but i'm not keeping a j....or this one anyway. I'm getting another car, so its not much point in spending a real lot of money on it if I know im not keeping it. I may get a j-body z. But i'm not keepin the 4 door auto. I might just keep it stock and keep all my money for my new car, whatever it may be.

Yeah, lol, sorry, I wasn't saying you were retarded. That's why I quoted that about the "street racer" right in the other guy's sig...I find it kinda funny someone was saying something you wanted to do was ricey when he himself admits right in his sig that he street races...which is about as dumb as you can get really (and just save it, I know at this point most people say "well everyone has done it," you don't have to come right out and say it in your sig). While I would agree that it's worthwhile considering the cost to just wait and get a catback, I would say the same thing you said - it's your car, all I would do is make a suggestion. I don't have to drive it myself

It's ok, no harm done.

$75 beats around $400-$500 right now. If I do the muffler, i'm going to do cherry bomb glass-pack and tip. Cherry bomb is $34.99 at my local canadian tire
