I have a 2.2L ecotec 03 cavalier and i was wondering what the pupose of the box above the tb is for? The intake connects into it and then it connects to the tb and has a line going from there to the engine? If i bought an aftermarket intake should i replace that box as well? What exactly is it, its purpose?

as far as i know, its just another baffle to reduce the sound of the intake... but i'm sure others will chime in
If you get an intake, yes u'll be replacing and getting rid of it =)
