ok i have been seeing alot of posts about the coil conversion i have a 2001 ld9 2.4l
why do the gm coil conversion?
why not just do the msd digital box?

i already have the msd would i see more gain with the conversion?

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE, i have already died once and im still here so lets just leave it on the track

The reason is that you can get aftermarket coils with higher output using the 2.2 coilpack.

and the dis-2 box usually runs about $500. you can do the 2.2 coil swap for roughly $125 if you know the right people.
