There we go.

It's been proven that the throttle body spacers do nothing for you...and most likely swapping to the HO injectors didn't do anything for you either (might end up making the car run richer, wasting gas and actually hurting power output a bit). Other than that, you've got a good start. I'd look into HP Tuners to tune the car, then maybe start thinking about stuff like a P&P head, higher compression, etc. depending on your goals (whether or not you're planning to stay N/A or what). Obviously if you're thinking boost then higher compression wouldn't be a good idea, but a built motor would be. Also could consider lightweight pullies to pick up a few more HP.

^^ agreed
If you have the DC header on the 2.4, then its 4-2-1.
You have it listed correctly in your registry.
But you kinda need to clarify whats really on your ride so we all dont get confused.
Also, is it a bored factory 2.4L tb or 2.3L HO tb?
Can't really bore the LO/HO tbs too much without modding the manifold
Also you said flowmaster exhaust?
Did you mean flowmaster muffler?
Other quick things you could do strictly engine speaking:
Easy/leas time comsuming/done in less than half s hlaf a day:
Motor mounts (TTR or Karo)
Lighter pullies (MD LD9 in the group purchase section)
Autotrans Int or B & M shift plus
Custom hyperground kit (for looks more than anything, you can make one up pretty cheap)
Medium/could be done in a day or less with minumal problems:
Trans mount (when released)
2.2 coil conversion (if you're into that, although some folks on here would put this up on the easy list)
LSD insert
High Stall Torque converter
Hard/Most time consuming/likely vehicle down time:
Boost anything (superchargers a quicker setup though, maybe put on the med list)
Head work
Engine rebuild
2.3L oil pump mod (but you could put this on the medium list)
And finally misc. stuff if you felt like doing it.
Color wire loom kit, Battery relocation, A/C delete, Upgraded radiator, Alki/cooling mist injection, MSD ignition controller
-M
Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
whats up guys. the header thats on the motor now is a new header. i got it from my cuzin b/c he sold his Z car it might be a OBX but i dont no the TB wasnt bored that much its a 59 mm insted of a 56. the exhaust is from flowmaster but the mufflers are skunk 2. thanks you for all the info. i have a port and polished head but its not installed yet. im goin to swap everything over in about a month when i do my auto-manual swap. thanks

size on that exhaust and id go against everyone else and id say the ho injectors are needed, but u will need hptuners or something else to tune for them otherwise ur just spraying too much fuel now
You need to get your companies straightened out lol. Flowmaster doesnt make a catback for our car, so your piping isnt from flowmaster. If your header is a 4-1 its def not a DC. And the intake in your pic definitley isnt an aem, but an intake is just a pipe and filter so aem is just a name and a look.
Id ditch the tb spacer, and if you have 2.25" piping Id prolly step up to 2.5" since your doing some head work. Next mod should be mounts, pullies,or shift kit; all of which are pretty cheap and easy to install.
id not step up to 2.5 as icemike said, imo 2.25 is optimal for our cars n/a, 2.5 is decent for some boost set ups and i dont believe it would yeild any gain most likely a loss with the 2.5. a 1/4 of an inch doesnt seem like much in its own but throughout the whole exhaust and with air traveling through i believe it would sacrifice velocity and flow
Some will say go 2.5", some say 2.25" is fine; I think that if your flowing more air in the more it flows out the better. You may lose a bit lower end power but it is very minimal, Ill see soon as Ill be switching to 2.5" soon but Ill be using a different header and going catless as well. The better built n/a setups you see are running atleast 2.5", and incase he ever does boost he wont have to change it then.
when i hit up the track ill show one of the better n/a 2.4s... hopefully
but im feelin good about it, and i have 2.25 i also have 3in sittin in the garage just awaiting boost
If I was just doing basic bolt-ons Id prolly just stay 2.25, but if I was doing head work, cams, building a motor, or boosting Id go 2.5". Which I plan to sc and eventualy build a motor.
If I was building a nice turbo setup Id go full 3"
honestly... i have the same setup as you, as well as quite a few more mods and my car is slow and not much faster then a completly stock 95-99 auto Z. IMO, your on the right track with the manual swap. get that done and you can enjoy a much faster car.
autos can be built up to have good power etc, but they are just DOGS stock and its really hard to gain headway when it comes to performance mods.
read my mod list in my registry, i bet im sitting at 135whp if that.
i do have 2.5 inch exhaust. that was the first think i did then i got the header. then the motor blew. then i got a 2.4 out of my cuzins Z that with only 20k on it. then i started adding stuff. thanks guys for all the help. im keepin the TB spacer b/c im not goin to take time to take it back off it can stay. i got another? where can i get HPT and how much am i looking to spend.
