So, we know the exhaust ports on the Cobalt SS Ecos are the same, along with the intakes (As proven by Airtonics). Since the SS head has better flow, will the work with the cavalier Ecotec? It would be MUCH cheaper than the patriot performance head. My only concern would be the power steering pump and the cams, but the stock 2.2 cams should work, unless some how the SS cams would work in conjunction with HP tuners

hey ran an LSJ head for awhile but he did go back to the L61 head
L61 vs LSJ in terms of flow, they are equal
in terms of factory valvetrain strength, and combustino chamber support LSJ > L61
in terms of portability (meat around the ports) LSJ > L61
other than that there's no advantage to the LSJ head vs the L61
Hmmm.... i may have to pick up an LSJ head just for the strength of them then... plus the better for porting aspect... my friend who is going to do my port job will enjoy that information...

good luck finding one
I paid $2000 for a junkyard LSJ with supercharger. finding the head alone is going to be damn near impossible. LSJ is very desirable right now.
I forgot one more...
L61 availability > LSJ availability
L61 cost < LSJ cost
ahah hell yeah that is true pj..
BTW you wanna sel the charger?? eh ehh lol
