I just want to know the purpose of removing the tuner tube and also the intake resonator?

It gives you a free pencil holder for your desk. It might make the intake sound a little more "open", but essentially it does dick all for performance.
You'll find your fuel economy goes down, because you're always mashing on the gas trying to sound cool. At least, that's what I do

LOL yes I do recall finding that my fuel economy has suffered a little due to my heavy foot from enjoying the sound of my engine with the wai, its an addiction I guess
