1st off.. can you make the 2.4l vvt?
Anyone made the swap yet? ive thought about it.. but im not sure how the lashup would work... with a 4spd auto..

the LD9 2.4 into a VVT 2.4=not a chance.

and no one has done it yet. better off swapping in a 2.2 eco

Never done yet, and would be a major pain in the ass. A lot less pain in the ass would be a 2.2 Eco.
Not to mention the different bell housing on the transmissions.

Are you asking if you can just swap the head onto your LD9? If so, then no. I'm 99% sure you could swap the head over to the L61 though, since I believe Hahn is running an LSJ head on his L61. However, it requires more work than just swapping the head. You would need a standalone ECM that can control VVT.

Otherwise, if you are talking about swapping the whole motor over...Good Luck. I suggest you read at least a few of the many posts on the subject.
