Fresh dyno numbers.
Sunday, June 24, 2007 6:00 PM
I got on the dyno today in Orlando Fl. I put down 151.46whp and 149.44wtq. It was really hot today. I'm very happy with the numbers. My air/fuel needs some tuning, and hopefully ading some timing I can get 160whp. We will see in the near future. Tomorrow I should have the sheet scanned and I have some video's as well.

John I'm sure on a cooler day and a little tunning you can easily get your 160.

Yeah I agree. It is 99.96 degrees on my first run and 100.19 on my second. Humidity was 23% (which to me seems low). Still I'm happy.

Just trying to get an idea here - with your timeslips listed in your registry, your best run was a 14.83 @ 91.25, from December of 2002. What all of your mods were done to the car at that point? All of them listed in your registry, or no? Judging by your R/T and 60' times, I'd say you're a pretty decent driver, I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect from a modest N/A build on the 2.4. I'm still torn between going all out N/A or S/C, and you seem to be one of the more active members with a good amount of N/A mods.

To put it another way, was your best run of 14.83 accomplished with the same mods that gave you these dyno numbers, or did you do some mods since that run? I'm guessing that you've added HPT since that run. Haven't done any more recent runs, have you?

My 14.8 was actually done with 139.8whp and 147.1wtq. I have been to the track a few times (actually was at the track 2 days before this last dyno pulls). I only got to run 1 time that night. I have not went to the track like I use to, I would log soo many runs and try different things. This last time out I try running different tire pressure on the radials, and spun got a 15.4. My goal is to go back to the track this year alot and get some runs in and work on improving my time. I have more power so I should be able to, just a matter of putting it to good use. I have also gained about 40 pounds since my 14.8 runs. That is another area I need to address. I have yet to use HPT on the car. Still 100% factory tune on it. Hopefully in the up coming weeks I will be able to get the car tuned and see what she will put down and then get back to the track.
